aversion, infatuation, ignorance - defilements & perfection (6:23)

The Buddha described the three main conditions afflicting humanity as aversion (get that away from me), infatuation (gimme that), & ignorance (that is something separate from me). These are called defilements. In this video I explore a triad framing of defilements - recognizing defilements as a cause of suffering, recognizing defilements as aspects of perfection, and recognizing defilements as well-disguised friends patiently, if persistently, pointing our attention to energy within us that's seeking the healing light of our calm attention.
